"Beautiful building and a truly lovely stay. Tina is very kind and welcoming. Great introduction to Auckland and NZ. Clean and bright room, plenty of space and a balcony with a wonderful view . Kitchen and shared bathroom, I have no complaints whatsoever. Thank you for a wonderful stay. 100 % recommend."
"I would recommend Kiwi Heritage Homestay as somewhere interesting to stay. It is a cute old villa. That lives up to its heritage name with antique furniture (i stayed in the economically priced single room) i stayed in the very middle of winter. At first was worried about the cold due to the building era. However you are provided with a hotty and a fin heater/radiator which heats the space well after warming up an hour or two.. its got everything you need and attentive hosts who are easy to talk to and eager to please who help you to feel welcome and at home. Dont hesitate to book."
"We loved the heritage factor and to see that Auckland City Council help maintain it as a heritage Building. Beautifully kept but I think it could be upgraded in furnishings. Needs a mirror in bedroom and door to our balcony could not be opened. However we were welcomed very well. Communication before we arrived was clear, directions clear and followed through with friendly hosts. It is on main road with lots of traffic which is a problem for light sleepers. I enjoyed the breakfast provided and the location was close to family in Auckland. It was economical and a pleasant surprise out in the suburbs of West Auckland."
"Lovely house with nice rooms. We had an amazing view of the city from ours. Close to the train station making it easy to get to/from. Some street noise/old house noises, but had no problems getting a good night's rest. Great place at a great price if you're looking for a place to crash in Auckland."
