Welcome to Piha RSA & Lion Rock Restaurant, your friendly local community club located in the heart of Piha, New Zealand. Established in 1952, our institution was originally formed to support returned and serving NZ servicemen and women, but now we are open to all members of the public.

At Piha RSA, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming and inclusive establishment. We warmly invite all members, their guests, and visitors from affiliated clubs to join us. In fact, we encourage new members to join our community, and membership is open to anyone aged over 18.

Situated on Beach Valley Road, our club rooms boast a stunning outlook, overlooking the river and the iconic "Lion Rock." This picturesque setting provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

We offer a range of services and amenities to cater to your needs. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind and enjoy a drink at our bar, indulge in delicious food at our Lion Rock Restaurant, or simply explore a point of interest in the area, Piha RSA has something for everyone.

Our opening hours vary depending on the season. During winter until Labour Weekend, we are open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 4pm till late. In the summer, we are open seven days a week, from 2pm till late on weekends and from 4pm till late on weekdays.

When it comes to dining, our menu changes to suit different tastes and preferences. We offer dine-in options with bookings recommended, as well as convenient take-away options. Our talented Chef Alan ensures that the food served at Lion Rock Restaurant is not only delicious but also affordable, making it perfect for the whole family.
