Welcome to Waimauku Playcentre, located at 69 Muriwai Road in Waimauku, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, Waimauku Playcentre is a unique early childhood education institution. Unlike other schools, both children and their parents or caregivers attend our center.

At Waimauku Playcentre, children have the opportunity to learn and explore in a fun and safe environment. We believe in nurturing the curiosity and creativity of our tamariki (children) in a way that allows them to learn about themselves and the world around them.

Your child will have the chance to engage in various activities that change every day. They can explore, create, climb, read, sing, experiment, play music, dress up, paint their faces, garden, do carpentry with real tools, bake and cook, build sandcastles, swing, slide, dance, spend time in nature, and get messy. The possibilities are endless!

What sets us apart is that our Playcentre parents bring different skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds, enriching the learning environment. We welcome families with children aged 0 to 6 years, and our mixed-age play allows children to interact with peers older and younger than themselves. This helps pre-schoolers learn essential skills such as communication, sharing, and empathy towards their younger peers.

At Waimauku Playcentre, families come together, and lifelong friendships are formed. We encourage you to visit us at any time during the year. You are entitled to three free visits, so come and check out what we do! We would love to meet you and your family.
