Established in 2013 as a pop-up restaurant, The Ramen Shop was born out of a simple desire to enjoy ramen that didn't come from a box or packet. Thanks to the support of some incredible venues, such as Golding's Free Dive, Hasigo Zake, Rogue and Vagabond, Flight Coffee Hangar, and Six Barrel Soda, we were able to grow our following and eventually open our own shop in Newtown in 2014.
Located at 191 Riddiford Street, our Newtown location offers lunch from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and dinner from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Additionally, we have another branch at 139 Karori Road, Karori, Wellington 6012, with the same lunch and dinner timings. Both locations are open Monday to Sunday, ensuring that you can satisfy your ramen cravings whenever they strike.
