"Nice park"
"Lovely quiant park just on the outskirts of Wellington CBD. Good for relaxing after brunch while the children play in the playground."
"This is a gorgeous park that buffers this side of the city from the motorway that runs below. The park is long and thin, making great use of the space through zoning; there is a grassy zone, a picnic bench zone, a kids play equipment area, a pond corner and the garden for the blind is park of the park. The most impressive part of the park is the huge array of plants. There are both natives (pohutukawa, cabbage trees) and exotic species (cherry blossoms, lavender, azaleas, hydrangeas). Every little corner is planted with ... something! So if you love plants, you’ll love it here. I think Katherine Mansfield would have loved it, too. Please kindly note, the park has no toilets but you can pop out of one end of the park to Mojo Cafe to use theirs while you grab your flat white. Also, I did notice a lot of shingle/gravel paths so if you’re a wheelchair user please take note of that."
"Really chill little park surrounded by beautiful native trees (which attract some kakas), flowers and extensive green slopes. Perfect spot to read your late afternoon book."
