"The staff at reception greeted me with a smile and very friendly helpful. The triage nurse was lovely and her bedside manner brilliant, she was very calming. Dr Thilo Marquardt greeted me with a compassionate smile and asked some questions to get some understanding and medical history whilst keeping things very relaxed, he conducted a few basic tests and then his conclusion and way forward was delivered in a manner that I could fully understand and complete with reasons why. At the end he took the time to ask if there ere any questions i had rather than just shuffle me out - simply brilliant and instilled confidence in the entire process and medication prescribed, 48 hours later i am on the mend."
"I get incredibly anxious about going to the doctor, luckily it was a slow day today so I didn’t have to wait for ages to get seen. I was seen by Dr Cheyenne, she was very kind and made me feel super comfortable. I left feeling a lot better about my injury than when I went in, so thank you!"
"I went here because I saw on the website that there is free antivirus medicine for someone who have covid symptoms but don’t have prescription. I just arrived in Wellington for a few days. So I didn't know the standard of giving medicine. I went to ask the nurse at the front desk and the young nurse was nice but I didn't make it clear so she gave me a form to see the doctor. After I filled out the form, I was greeted by an old lady with short hair. She asked me what visa I was on, and I told her it was a student visa. Then she told me I need to pay $250 fee. After saying this, I don't know which one of us had the ear problem, she kept telling me she couldn't hear what I was saying. She said I don't understand what your purpose is here. (Now I understand why there was a previous comment saying she doesn't like foreigners). Then she called an elderly nurse to ask me, and I told her that I only had mild symptoms and wanted to know if I could get free medicines (because I had received free covid medicines when I was studying in Australia, plus The description on the website, I thought Wellington also had it). But the nurse kept asking me why I didn’t take the covid test, and didn’t listen to what I was saying. I didn't know until the end that I wasn't eligible for free medication. I was really confused. When I was about to leave, the old nurse stopped me again and asked me why didn't I do a test here? I thought she was talking about the free self test box and I was taken to a room and waited for the nurse to come. Then the lady with the short hair seemed to think I was someone who wanted everything for free and didn't want to pay for it, come here tell me very loudly that the covid test will cost $120. She said "do you want to pay or not?" There were a lot of people there and I really found that attitude very rude. Won’t be going there again."
"I arrived today around 6pm, I was seen by the triage nurse fairly quickly , after I did not have a long wait before a doctor came to see me. my doctor was Dr N.Sawicki , she was very kind, considerate and understanding, I feel that she had a lot of time and respect for me as a patient, In the past I have been to other clinics where it feels like they just want you in and out the door as quick as possible. But I feel that dr Sawicki was the opposite and treated me with dignity, respect and patience."
"Went here when my hubby got asthma episode.. We were Being helped speedily and professionally, with friendly nurses. As patient with trouble breathing and short breathness, we had the priority. We stayed for about two hours to finish the protocol for asthma patient. The nebulizer and prednisone helped. Thank you so much Dr. Cheyenne Heka, Dr. John, and nurse Robyn and nurse Kate. As we are not Kiwis and have no insurance, we paid NZD 250 up front for this service. It has pharmacy and Pacific Radiology for X-Ray as well at the vicinity. The after hours open everyday, from 8 AM to 9 PM if I’m not mistaken. You can always check out the opening hours. It’s disability friendly with ramp entrance and facilities for those with reduced mobility"
