Welcome to Khandallah Playgroup, located at 11 Ganges Road, Wellington. Our playgroup is a fantastic indoor and outdoor space for children under 5 and their parents/caregivers to enjoy!

At Khandallah Playgroup, we provide a safe and relaxed environment for children and caregivers to have fun and explore. Our playgroup is situated behind the Khandallah Town Hall, offering a convenient and easily accessible location for families in the area.

Our group consists of preschool-aged children, ranging from 0 to 4 years old. While our toys and facilities are primarily aimed at children aged 1 to 4, we warmly welcome younger babies as well.

We take pride in offering a well-resourced and purpose-organized space where children can learn, explore, and have fun. Our playgroup is equipped with age-appropriate toys and games, ensuring that every child's developmental needs are met. Additionally, we have an extensive outdoor playground where children can engage in physical activities and enjoy the fresh air.

To cater to the needs of families, our playgroup is equipped with essential amenities such as a kitchen, bathroom, and baby changing facilities. We understand the importance of providing a comfortable and convenient space for parents and caregivers.

At Khandallah Playgroup, we believe in the power of parental involvement in a child's skill development. As a parent-run organization, we encourage parents and caregivers to actively participate in their child's playgroup experience. This includes setting up activities, supervising children, and tidying up at the end of each session. Volunteer supervisors are also present to oversee the general running of the groups and assist with session organization.

To ensure the smooth administration of the playgroup, we have a dedicated Playgroup Committee comprised of volunteer parents. This committee manages the playgroup on an administrative level, working together to create a vibrant and engaging environment for all members.

We invite parents and caregivers to become active members of our playgroup by participating in sessions, volunteering as supervisors, and even joining the Committee. Your involvement not only benefits your child but also fosters a strong sense of community and support among fellow parents and caregivers.
