Welcome to The Aquadome, located at Austin Street in Wellington, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to the goal of getting schoolchildren back in the pool and improving declining swimming standards in the Wellington region.

The Aquadome is managed by the Swim Trust, which was established in 2008 in response to the loss of school pools in the area and the reduced access to swimming facilities for schools. Currently, we operate and manage the Aquadome Pool, providing school swimming programs to five schools in Wellington Central. These schools include Wellington College, Wellington East Girls College, Clyde Quay, St Marks, and Mount Cook. We offer pool space and coaches for their swimming programs, helping to ensure that students have the opportunity to learn and improve their swimming skills.

In addition to our school programs, we also offer services to the wider community. We provide lane space for community groups such as Surf Life Saving, Waterpolo, Synchronized Swimming, School Sport Teams, Learn to Swim groups, and Adult Swimming Groups. If you are interested in hiring lanes, the pool, or coaching services, please get in touch with us and we can provide you with availability and costing information.

The Aquadome pool is also available for one-off hiring in the evenings and during the weekend. Whether you need a full 25m pool, a learners pool, or both for your event, we can accommodate your needs. Please note that unfortunately, we do not offer our facilities for birthday parties.
