Our qualified and experienced teachers are committed to caring for and nurturing your child, building strong connections and ensuring their unique needs are met.

Our teachers create positive opportunities for your child to develop physically, mentally, and emotionally. They guide them through new friendships, help them master new skills, and foster independence and resilience to prepare them for school and lifelong learning. We are fortunate to have many wonderful options on our doorstep in Porirua. We grow our own vegetables and herbs in our garden and go on community excursions to the local library. We strive to provide nutritious and delicious meals and snacks to support your child's physical and mental development. Our menu is balanced, and we involve the children in using the vegetables and herbs we grow.

Safety is paramount at our centre, which is why we are nut-free and accommodate any allergy or dietary requirements. We aim to make your child's early learning and care experience as affordable as possible. As a not-for-profit organization, we reinvest everything back into supporting your child, the centre, and our community. We also offer fee and ECE subsidies, so please speak to our Centre Manager for further information.

Our team of teachers follows Te Whariki, New Zealand's Early Childhood Curriculum, and works closely with your child to create an environment that reflects their unique needs and curiosities. We believe that the involvement of families and whānau is vital to our community. We connect with you through Storypark and celebrate festivals together, among other ways of including families.

From growing vegetables in our garden to exploring the local community, we constantly seek ways for your child to understand the connection between their environment, community, and themselves. We use Storypark to record and communicate learning in a secure online environment, allowing parents and whānau to receive instant feedback and plan new ways to extend their child's interests and abilities.
