"Previous to me being granted an aged care package i received home care from local government this was then transferred to private providers. The private provider I was allocated was totally unsatisfactory. I often had to tell the person what to do and how to do It, following a discussion with the case manger (linkages) I asked to have advanced star cleaning there was some difficulty in this process as linkages didn't have a contract with the company I now have two ladies who come for one hour every fortnight their standards are superior, they know how to clean, they come with all their own equipment and its A pleaseure to have them in my home. These ladies both demonstrate initiative and work well together. They would be Ideal mentors for any new staff. Thanks Meghan and Kirsty."

"The crew from Advanced Star Cleaning did an end of lease clean and carpet shampoo and I could not be happier with the service, the staff and the results. Neville had a lovely manner with the cleaning crew and did the carpet shampoo. The rest of the crew did the cleaning I am no longer able to do and they were all very patient and respectful of this old woman hobbling in and out from the garden between rain showers. I got my bond back in its entirety because the townhouse looked beautiful. Neville is a terrific manager to his staff and a credit to his employer. I have already recommended Advanced Star Cleaning to others. Thank you all."

Hired them a while back, and we ended up having to clean the house ourselves as they hadn't done anything except clean the carpets, then the owner had a sook to my pregnant wife on the phone about it. Pathetic at it's worst!"

"`Lance Elliot Cleaning` ... IS ... `Advanced Star Cleaning` and is under new management. The staff are pleasant enough and responded quickly. Prices are reasonable and not over the top. When questioning the quality of the job a few days later when receiving the bill, management was quite blasé & dismissive. Regarding the job ... OK, but seemed they only did the bare minimal. Would I use them again? ... Not Sure. I couldn't say I wouldn't though, but I would still look for others. The website states, *** "Our staff will clean your gutters by hand, to ensure leaves, moss, and dirt are fully cleared, leaving a fully-functioning drainage system. Furthermore our staff will also go the extra mile to clean up after the job, and will remove any mess that comes out of the gutters. Our Ballarat Gutter Cleaning services include: Full gutter and downpipe cleaning Clearing debris from the entire roof Cleaning-up and removal of debris from your premises" *** Embellishment goes a long way for those who do not research. If you are going to do the talk, do the walk. Yes they did tidy the gutter with leaves and moss removed, but left the dirt. I saw one of the guys with his hand remove the leaves, but did not wash down the gutter or brush away at the dirt. YES the hose did reach as I had already got the hose to the rear of the garage and the side of the veranda. Not even connecting to a tap nearby, but from the rear of the house. When questioning after I got the bill, management stated that the hose could not reach the area. Here's a thought ... professionals with so many years experience would have hose extensions or a hose long enough, just in case if the house hold did not have a hose or had a broken one. Also there was a tap nearby in the veranda. if your hose reached the front of the house, then it could have easily reached the other side front. Our hose certainly could without any trouble. When I sent the pictures they said it was clean/normal and I was too picky. Yes for a house not cleaned for a couple of years, but not for one that was cleaned a week prior. They also stated their price was cheap for the work they did as they use two people. I stated if they spent longer (even double) it would not worry me as long they did what they was suppose to do. Which is "ensure leaves, moss, and dirt are fully cleared" Leaves=YES / Moss=YES / Dirt=NO I know there has to be some dirt left and over a period dirt and leaves will start to collect. Some of the dirt was left like sprinkled on as this would be removed by rain and I expected this, but some parts had layers of dirt which over time will become mud and attract moss. They didn't do a bad job, nor can I say that the experience wasn't pleasant, but the attention to detail wasn't there. The website states "staff will also go the extra mile to clean up after the job" ... technically I could take them for false advertising. There was no pride in their work. Please note - they did not con me nor rip me off. I think they did a honest job, but it was simply lacklustre. Will it attract me again to them? ... NOT SURE. Will I without any question get them back every year ... Maybe NOT If you are going to use any one, get them to take pictures before and after. I know people in Melbourne who had gutter cleaned who used cameras, report, vacuum for down pipe entry points so not to clog the bottom of the down pipes and water jets. Management seemed to not know or should I say do indicated they did not use vacuums, yet with years and years of professional experience indicate on their website no job is too small or difficult. I am not going to bag this company, but at the same time not give them glowing reports. If you are going to give them a 5/5 … prove it. What I have noticed with this pandemic is it has brought out how good and bad companies/people are in business, integrity, professionalism, quality and promises. Please note I am NOT saying this company in any way is bad. Still use them, but just check after the job is done. Hope this helps."
