At the Wellington Faculty of Education, we offer challenging and thought-provoking programmes that encourage our students to apply their studies in real-life situations. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to critically and creatively shape the future of education.

Education holds the power to transform every aspect of our society, and at our institution, you will have the opportunity to explore how humans learn and how societies develop education systems. With a focus on the Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Early Childhood, we aim to help our students ignite a passion for learning within their future students and foster a lifelong desire for knowledge.

Through our Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) and Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Psychology Practice, we provide specialized training for those looking to work with young children and make a positive impact on their development.

As part of our commitment to research and innovation, we host an annual lecture focusing on education and early intervention for children with autism, presented by esteemed professors Jeff Sigafoos and Dr Hannah Waddington. Additionally, we offer summer research scholarships, giving students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research during the summer trimester.
