Welcome to Akoranga Childcare Centre, located at Akoranga Drive in beautiful New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, we are proud to offer a warm and nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years.

At Akoranga Childcare Centre, we prioritize the well-being and development of every child in our care. Our close-knit community consists of AUT staff and students, as well as families from the wider community. We believe in fostering strong relationships and creating a sense of belonging for all.

Our centre boasts an open plan setting, providing children with a spacious and engaging environment to explore, learn, and grow. With a capacity for 42 children, we ensure that each child receives individualized attention and support from our dedicated team of educators.

Operating from Monday to Friday, between 7.30am and 5pm, we understand the demands of busy schedules and aim to accommodate families' needs. However, please note that we do close for four weeks over the Christmas break to allow our staff and families to enjoy the holiday season.

As a not-for-profit childcare centre, our focus is on providing excellent care and education for children. We strive to create a stimulating curriculum that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. Our educators are highly qualified and passionate about early childhood education, ensuring that every child receives the best possible start in their educational journey.
