Welcome to New Shoots Children's Centre Whenuapai, located at 1-9 Maramara Rd, Whenuapai, Auckland, New Zealand. Our centre is a point of interest in the community, offering a unique and enriching experience for children.

At New Shoots Whenuapai, we provide a bespoke space where children can explore, learn, and have fun. Our centre is renowned for its award-winning building, which is architecturally designed and inspired by the sea. Shaped like a whale, the building sets the stage for a marine-themed environment, with room names like Pipi and Moana.

Inside our centre, you'll find beautifully interactive spaces tailored to each age group. These spaces stimulate imagination, curiosity, and growth in children. Our whimsical rooms are filled with shapes, colors, cozy couches, and natural resources, providing endless hours of fun and learning.

We believe in the importance of tuakana-teina, the concept of older and younger children learning from each other. Our shared outdoor environment encourages collaboration and exploration, allowing children to become confident and resilient individuals. They have the freedom to run, climb, dig, and splash, creating their own journey of self-discovery.

Community is an integral part of our centre. We have developed strong relationships with the local school and our air force whānau. We host various events such as parents' nights and cultural celebrations, fostering connections within the community. Our open-door policy ensures that families feel welcome and involved in their child's early childhood education.

Our fees include nappies, meals, wetbags, bags, and hats/beanies, providing convenience for families. We operate as a full-day service and do not offer short days or sessions. Our teacher ratios exceed the Ministry of Education Standards, ensuring high-quality care for your child. The minimum enrolment requirement is two days per week, and a $50 enrolment fee is due upon enrolment to secure your child's place. If you have two or more children attending New Shoots full time, you are eligible for a 10% discount on your eldest child's fees. Nappies and food are provided, but formula must be brought from home if required.
