At Heretaunga College, we cater to over 700 students, both boys and girls, aged between 12 and 18 years. To ensure a conducive learning environment and prevent overcrowding, Heretaunga College has implemented an amended enrolment scheme. This scheme, approved by the Secretary for Education, defines our home zone and can be viewed on our school website. Unfortunately, due to the significant increase in our school roll and popularity as a preferred school, we are unable to accommodate students residing beyond our current enrolment zone.

For the 2024 academic year, we are pleased to announce that we are now accepting enrolments. We understand the importance of planning ahead and invite you to apply early to secure a place for your child.

However, for out-of-zone placements in Year 9 and Year 11, we will be conducting a Ballot for the 2024 academic year. The closing date for Year 11 out-of-zone applications is Monday, October 16, 2023, at 4pm.
