At Wellington South Kindergarten, we have the capacity to cater for up to 30 children each day, with most attending three, four, or five days a week. Our dedicated team of four qualified and registered teachers are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for your child's early education journey.

We believe in the importance of outdoor exploration and regularly visit the local library park, allowing children to connect with nature and develop their physical skills. For our older children, we also organize school visits to broaden their horizons and enhance their learning experiences.

Our engaging environment is designed to foster fun and learning. From sand and water play to biking and physical challenges, children are encouraged to explore and develop their motor skills. We also set up activities that reflect their interests, such as construction, reading, arts and crafts, and quiet play. Our teachers seamlessly integrate literacy, numeracy, and social skills into the program in a fun and interactive way.

At Wellington South Kindergarten, we pride ourselves on our commitment to bicultural education. Our early childhood curriculum, Te Whāriki, embraces Te Ao Māori and Te Reo Māori (Māori language and worldview), providing a rich cultural experience for all children.
