"We call Patti the child whisperer in our household. She provides a therapeutic approach that is deeply transformative and we cannot recommend her services highly enough. Our family is very complex, with various complex needs, but Patti's experience and expertise seems to be exhaustive. We could not be happier with her support."
"I had a life threatening medical scare a couple of years ago and was in the ICU then transferred to Melbourne when covid had just kicked off so it was very traumatic. I started having intesnse health anxiety so engaged with a psychologist, then all of my past trauma that I’d been hiding and denying my whole life reared it’s ugly head and I was in a very dark and scary place. My psychologist at the time left private practice and I was sure my life was over because through all of this I had found out I was being retraumatised in my long term relationship and that my kids were very effected and unsafe so we had to flee. My previous psych had referred me to bloom well- being but at the time I was in trauma mode and felt like I had been abandoned so isolated myself and went back to my partner. I tried so desperately to push everything back down and deny it all again but I knew my kids were in danger so I finally got the courage to reach out again (I was already connected to appropriate services but didn’t feel like they supported my mental health to the extent I needed) so I connected with jemma, and she has been a life saver (literally) I continue to deal with my trauma on a daily basis, even going through the legal system, but jemma has also helped me to navigate that side of things too. Her main goal though, is to help me manage the effects of my traumas and use healthier ways to cope. Now instead of feeling like I am in this deep dark hole day in and day out, and that my life is coming to an end, I have even managed to start smiling again, and feel happy at times. Jemma continues to help me through the many complexities of my traumas and I feel safer not only physically but within myself as well. Thanks Jemma and bloom for being there when I needed help the most."
"Really positive experience with Bloom well-being, highly recommend!"
"So I contacted Gemma (I believe it was?) about engaging in EMDR therapy following an abusive relationship that had seen me sectioned multiple times due to there being concern around safety to myself. I was told that I was unable to use this service because I identify as a male and it was for people who identified as non-binary. I actually found this is untrue and this service does indeed work with people who identify as male, female and non-binary. You should be embarrassed. So here we sit and wonder why male suicide rates are statistically higher, but there’s services turning away genuine male victims of intimate partner violence. Shame on you."
