Additionally, our campus houses Intra's cutting-edge, image-guided healthcare center.

Our registered nurse workforce is professional, caring, and dedicated to providing top-quality care. We offer spacious rooms for overnight stays, equipped with modern amenities such as en-suite bathrooms, televisions with selected SKY TV channels, radios, refrigerators, and tea/coffee making facilities.

To ensure the dietary needs of our patients are met, we provide quality nourishing meals, and special dietary requirements can be catered for upon request. We also understand the importance of maintaining connections with loved ones during a hospital stay, which is why our visiting hours are from 11 am to 8 pm. Our North Harbour hospital campus boasts all the facilities one would expect from a large private surgical hospital. We have state-of-the-art digital and hybrid operating theaters, including a da Vinci® surgical robot, to ensure the highest level of surgical precision. In addition, we offer a range of consulting and practitioner treatment suites on-site, including a purpose-built endoscopy suite, cardiology services, cancer care, sports medicine, radiology, and more, all conveniently located within the Northern Clinic.

To streamline your admission process, we provide a Southern Cross patient Admission Pack, which will be given to you by your surgeon prior to your hospital procedure. These forms, available below and in the pack, gather important information about your personal details, health history, special needs, and payment preferences. Completing all sections will enable our healthcare teams to tailor your care accordingly. In some cases, we may need to contact you for more information or request additional documents, such as power of attorney documents or a Welfare Guardian document.

When visiting the hospital, please remember to bring your 'Agreement to Treatment Form' provided by your specialist. We also offer the convenience of completing your Patient Admission and Patient Health Questionnaire forms online, which will be directly sent to your hospital. You can request a copy for your own reference as well. For non-New Zealand residents, an 'Acknowledgement Form: Non NZ Resident' is required.

Patient safety is our utmost priority, especially during and after surgery. Once you have completed the patient forms, you can scan or photograph them legibly and email them to your hospital or send them by post. If posting, please allow 1-2 extra weeks for delivery.

It is important to note that admission to our hospital for treatment puts you at a higher risk of blood clots. If you have any concerns or if any of the mentioned factors apply to you, please discuss them with your GP or treating medical specialist.
