"Nice little Waterfall, right on the side of Albany - I had driven by for over 20 years and did not know it was here, until I was looking on line for waterfalls to test out some long exposures - trying out a new camera. The paths on the south side of the stream were in need of some maintenance, and it was a bit tricky getting down to the falls, but it was worth it (I just had the wrong time of day for full photos, with half in sun and half in shade). I will be going back though, as it is quite accessible to Albany/Rosedale, where I have worked for the past 20 years. Parking during the week can be a bit hard on Gills Road, with the business being open. I walked from the Albany side of the bridge, through the reserve, over the grass."
"I parked on Gill St. Just on the other side of the bridge tucked in the driveway. There's walkways on both sides of the creek, but the right side is damaged (if you're looking at the signs, it's the driveway side) it's a easy 5min walk to waterfall. There's a track that takes you to the top of waterfall, then can carry on the track to an opening that you can get another angle of waterfall before going down track to the creek using the rocks to get across creek to the waterfall platform where there is a seat."
"Beautiful scenery and a wonderful place to take a hike! Duration of the hike will depend on you due to it being part of Gills Reserve. Some spots are a bit muddy, so be mindful if you're going wearing your favorite trainers!"
"A small area next to the Main road. Only good enough for the local community. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk around the whole area. A small waterfall to enjoy and relax. No parking available, just park on the road side."
"This is a hidden gem. Sort of hard to find the entrance. Good shoes recommend. Won't recommend swimming but people do swim there, so carry towels and swimwears."
