Welcome to the Linkup Program at Mount Rowan Secondary College, located in Ballarat Central, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, our school is dedicated to providing a comprehensive curriculum that meets the standards and requirements of the Victorian Curriculum F–10 for years 7-10.

At Mount Rowan, we understand the importance of English in fostering confident communication, imaginative thinking, and informed citizenship. Through the study of English, our students learn to analyze, understand, communicate, and build meaningful relationships with others.

Mathematics is another core subject at Mount Rowan for years 7-10. Our students develop essential skills in fundamental number skills, algebra, measurement and geometry, and statistics and probability. We firmly believe that literacy and numeracy skills are crucial for success, both academically and in the workforce.

Science is a fundamental subject for years 7-9 at Mount Rowan, covering four main strands: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Physics. During these formative years, our students explore and understand the complex processes that have shaped the modern world, as well as investigate responses to different challenges, including our interconnections with the environment.

The Humanities offer a framework for our students to examine the intricate processes that have shaped the modern world, as well as explore various responses to different challenges. This includes understanding people's interconnections with the environment.

The Technologies provide our students with the tools and knowledge to use technology and create innovative solutions that meet current and future needs. We encourage our students to make informed decisions about the development and use of technology.

Music and Drama are unique art forms that allow our students to express themselves in ways that they cannot in any other subject. Through these subjects, students can explore personal, cultural, and social worlds.

Visual Art is a core subject for years 7 and 8 at Mount Rowan. Our students develop skills using a wide range of mediums, techniques, and art forms, creating two and three-dimensional artworks that showcase their creativity.

Health and Physical Education (HAPE) are core subjects for years 7-10 at Mount Rowan. Our students develop skills in various activities, including fundamental motor skills, fitness, athletics, volleyball, gymnastics, and dance. In sports, students have the opportunity to participate and excel.

We are proud to offer the ACE TEAMS program, a STEAM Academy program for years 7-10. This program is designed for aspirant and capable students who wish to excel in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

To ensure the safety of our school community, Mount Rowan Secondary College has implemented COVID-Safe strategies.
