Welcome to Te Puna Clinic, located at 58 Akoranga Drive in Auckland, New Zealand. Our clinic is an establishment focused on providing quality medical care and reducing barriers for people accessing healthcare. We offer a range of services to both individuals and whanau (families) in the community.

Our health professionals are highly qualified practitioners with specialized expertise. They are dedicated to delivering the best possible care to our patients. At Te Puna, our kaupapa (sense of vision) guides everything we do. We strive to fulfill our kaupapa in all aspects of our work.

Te Puna Hauora has grown from humble beginnings to become an integral part of the Te Raki Paewhenua community. We are constantly working to expand our capacity and abilities while always putting the needs of our patients first.

To access our services, you need to be enrolled with Te Puna Hauora. You can enroll by visiting one of our clinics, either the Northcote or Birkdale clinic. Simply fill in a registration form and provide the necessary documents, such as a photocopy of your passport with E-VISA, a NZ birth certificate, a NZ citizenship certificate, a Community Services Card, or a letter from immigration confirming acceptance of refugee status. None of these documents need to be certified copies.

Once enrolled, you can book an appointment with a GP either over the telephone or in person at the clinic. We recommend booking well in advance as appointments may be limited. If you need to cancel an appointment, please call at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled time. Missed GP appointments will incur a $10 charge.

For repeat prescriptions, you can request them over the telephone or in person at the clinic. A nurse or doctor will call you back for details, so please allow at least 24 hours' notice. We will notify you via text or call when your repeat prescription is ready. Please note that each GP surgery or primary care practice may have its own procedure for repeat prescribing.

At Te Puna Hauora, we prioritize the well-being of our patients. We will inform you of any significant test results as soon as possible. Our transport service is available for those who have no other means of transportation, including the elderly, frail, and people with disabilities. This service is free or by donation.
