Welcome to Doxa School Bendigo, a Catholic Flexible Learning Setting located on Hargreaves Street. Our institution was established to address the need for an alternative option for education for vulnerable youth in the wider Bendigo region. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we aim to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for students from all sectors.

At Doxa School, we believe in promoting a Positive Behaviour Program that encourages all members of our school community to be Safe, be Kind, and be Curious. Our programs are guided by a Whole Person Student Centred approach, which is informed by our key pillars. We strive to re-engage students who are at risk of not completing their compulsory years of education due to various challenges or barriers that hinder their ability to engage in mainstream schooling.

Operating under the governance of Catholic Education Sandhurst (CES Ltd), Doxa School Bendigo educates in the Marist tradition of service to the marginalised and vulnerable, continuing our relationship with the Marist Brothers. We work closely with Catholic Education Sandhurst and the Doxa Youth Foundation to ensure the well-being and success of our students.

Our current programs cater to students in years 7 to 12, offering enrollment options of 12 months or more to support their re-entry into mainstream schools or other suitable educational settings. Additionally, we assist students in transitioning to vocational pathways. With a strong focus on Literacy, Numeracy, and Social and Emotional Learning, we aim to equip our students with the resilience and confidence they need for success on their life's journey.

At present, we have the capacity to enroll up to 50 students in our community. We are committed to building strong and supportive relationships with our students and their families, as well as the various organizations and individuals that provide support for young people in our region.

As an institution, we acknowledge and respect the traditional custodians of the land on which our school is built. We are dedicated to working in partnership with Aboriginal people for reconciliation and justice.
