Welcome to Havilah Road Preschool Centre, an established Kindergarten located in Long Gully, Australia. At our preschool, we believe that families play a crucial role in their children's learning journey, which is why we always welcome family involvement and encourage open communication.

One of our unique offerings is our "Learn Languages at Kindergarten" program, where we have a Karen Teacher joining us for two sessions a week. This program enhances communication and literacy skills, engages children, and offers numerous cognitive and social benefits. It is a State-funded initiative through the Department of Education and will be in place for four years.

As a recognized funded kindergarten program, we proudly display the Kinder Tick, providing families with confidence in our program. We believe in connecting with the community to broaden children's understanding of the world and expand their experiences. Therefore, incursions and excursions are an integral part of our program.

Our outdoor play spaces are large and shaded, allowing children plenty of room to move and explore. Our rich learning environment supports various aspects of development, including social, emotional, cognitive, physical, technological, and creative learning.

To ensure effective communication between educators and parents, we utilize Storypark, which enables us to share news, updates, progress, and exciting moments from kinder to home.

We prioritize the safety and well-being of children and young people, providing safe and fun environments for them to flourish. Our kindergarten's philosophy is informed by the National Quality Framework and guides our teaching and approach to early learning.

At Havilah Road Preschool, our enrolment registration process is managed centrally by the LMPA Central Enrolment Scheme, supported by the Y Kinders' enrolment team. They will provide information and support for any queries regarding your child's enrolment.

We offer both 4-year-old and 3-year-old free kindergarten programs as mixed age groups on specific days and times. We understand that starting kindergarten is a significant step for both your child and your family. From choosing and visiting a service to enrolling, orientation, and the important first day, we are here to support you throughout the entire process.
