"Fresh and delicious beef Pho with homemade garlic and chili sauce is really tasty."
"Best summer rolls ever - we'll be back to try out the rest of the menu for sure"
"I've tasted a lot of pho. A lot. This one rates very highly and right up there. If you are planning to go, go around an hour after opening. The later you go, the more developed and pronounced the pho broth becomes. There's a good balance of flavours with a strong lean towards authenticity. It's got heart and soul. What most Wellington food has slowly lost is this aspect of authenticity. Flavours have slowly become tweaked and tailored to something that is adjusted too much as an attempt to cater for a lot of different people. It is becoming quite rare to find restaurants that hold dearly to their homegrown recipes without having to tailor and adjust to the masses. However, the fundamentals of this place has not lost its roots. It is created with balance and leave you wanting more. Go for a spicy hue with spring rolls. I hit this place every Friday and the portions are generous."
"The food was incredibly delicious and the dishes were presented very appetising along with great customer service. This is one of the best go to places to get yourself some authentic Vietnamese food around Wellington. I highly suggest you all to give Pho Bac a try. Definitely is worth giving all the menus a try. Overall, this is certainly a 5 star restaurant"
"Nice little restaurant in the mall, last visit I had was the pork chop and egg. Was much better than the previous time I visited. I've had it a couple of times within the year, I don't eat out at the mall that often so I don't remember the chef but the food can vary. I like the soup that comes with the pork chop, it's not salty like other restaurants and the pork also has a bit a fat in it which gives it more flavor. Rice was undercooked though, was abit too hard so had to pour soup in it."
