"We decided to support local for dinner. The food wasn't too bad. Dessert was lovely, but unfortunately, I felt it was slightly overpriced. The restaurant itself was freezing, this made you want to leave as soon as you had finished your meal, which was a shame."

"Cozy spot with friendly service. The food was mostly decent - generous portions but nothing special in terms of flavour. The pasta however was unfortunately near inedible - completely lacking in flavour. It looks like the Fireplace has recently rebranded and have gotten rid of the pasta dish since thankfully."
