"Sushi Kuni is one of the only Japanese restaurants in Ballarat, so I was excited to give it a try. The food was okay, but I found the rice toppings to be a bit salty for my taste. The variety of sushi options was decent, but nothing particularly stood out as exceptional. Unfortunately, my experience with the male sales clerk was not pleasant. I found him to be rude and dismissive, which put a damper on the overall experience. It's disappointing to have such poor customer service, especially in a smaller town where options for dining out are limited. While the food was not bad, the negative experience with the sales clerk left a sour taste in my mouth. As there are no other Japanese restaurants in Ballarat, I may give Sushi Kini another try in the future, but only if there are improvements in the quality of customer service."
"I recently had the pleasure of trying the Katsu Chicken Curry, and I must say, it was the best I've ever had! The dish was incredibly filling and had a wonderful balance of flavours that left me wanting more. The chicken was perfectly cooked and had a delicious crispy coating that added a nice texture to the dish. The curry sauce was rich and savory, with just the right amount of spice to give it a kick without overpowering the other flavors. One of the best things about this dish was the value for money - at under $20, it was a steal considering the generous portion size and high quality ingredients. Overall, I would highly recommend the Katsu Chicken Curry at this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying and delicious meal. It's definitely one of the best dishes I've had in a long time"
"Super friendly, welcoming customer service. I tried the rice paper rolls and they are delicious. I've tried a lot of places, but these are my favourite. Prices were very fair too! I love how they make things fresh."
"The Teriyaki Chicken Rice bowl is slightly pricey compared to another Japanese restaurants in the town. Not authentic, and the rice was cold I assumed they use sushi rice instead of serving hot rice. The portion of food you paid for it contains a lot of rice and the chicken teriyaki is comparatively lesser than in other restaurants."
