"Went to a drumming workshop run my Melaleuca, one of the most wholesome feel good things we've done this holiday."

"The short, round woman who runs the place seems to think it's not so much a public library as her personal office / loungeroom. I haven't been in a public library for several years but something they all had in common, something I liked about them, was people were expected to be quiet and considerate. The woman I refer to sat at a table in the middle of the small library with a laptop and proceeded to carry on conversations with other staff at the top of her voice as if everybody should benefit from her thoughts and opinions. All the while she was eating and speaking with a mouthful of food. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer the old school librarians with a bun in their hair saying "shhhh" to everybody who rose above a whisper. I went there specifically seeking somewhere quiet and relaxing only to have this woman's incessant nattering, and chewing, her apparent self importance and disregard for those around her, irritate me until I had to leave after about 5 minutes. I'll bet she also stops in the middle of supermarket aisles to read the packaging without realising that between her and her trolley she's blocking everyone else. I'll bet she has 30 minute loud conversations with bank tellers as they nod their heads and look apologetically at the 18 people waiting on the queue to conduct 2 minute transactions on their lunch break. You know the type. Seriously... of all the places it's considered courteous to keep your voice down, a library is surely near the top of that list. And of all the people you'd expect to know that, a librarian in her 50's or 60's would, likewise, surely be at the top of that list."
"Extremely helpful and friendly staff."
