"Had a day out at Cohuna Wildlife Park with my 2 year old grandson. We went on a week day before the school holidays started, so it was fairly quiet, which I was happy for. My grandson loves all animals but finds dinosaurs interesting at the moment. The dinosaur statues they have in the park are great displays for some of the younger children. The Wallaby and Kangaroo enclosure is nice to walk through. The park has two crocodiles, which like to laze by the pool in their enclosure. The park also has roaming Emus, which are friendly enough. If you plan on staying for most of the day, make sure you bring your own food."
"Good weekend break and picnic spot for kids and family. Have many variety of animals and sculptures. Special mention is talking white parrot (Cockatoo), very funny and entertaining. Must visit place i would say."
"Can be a nice day out for kids, couples and families. $4 for a small pack of animals feed popcorn is a bit expensive, but it goes to maintain the park, so all good. You get to see koalas, kangaroos, emus, Wombat, Echidnas, crocodiles, Ponies & more. You probably need to hold tight to kids as emus all over the place moving freely, but they are definitely friendly and not aggressive. Place looks like it needs more funding for maintenance and upgrading. Hopefully comes from state government and people also continue to visit. It deserves to stay on. All in all, I liked it."
"I visited over 10 years ago and it was heartbreaking to see the decline in the zoo. Please support this lovely place. Animals are amazing and you can feed them, get close and pet them. For 35 dollars you can hold a koala. Fabulous"
"Wonderful place with peacocks, emus and birds roaming freely as we walk. Co-existence is something we all can learn here. We all can coexist in the wonderful world without harming each other with peace and harmony. It's a wonderful park with varied species and is a treat for kids and elders both. There is a mini train which takes you around and it's a fun ride not to be missed. Besides Koala, you can see kangaroos, deer and many other species."
