"I had been with this agency for many years. Receptionists were always lovely. However, a lot of recruiters treated their clients with discrimination. A few tried to pressure me into doing free labour for an entry level job I had years of experience in due to the presumption that I would have "forgotten" how to do this basic job. I was a grown adult with bills to pay. Would they have said this if I wasn't in the disability sector? Free. Labour. Just so they could get a commission. Disgusting. Years back a young recruiter with brown hair spoke to me like I was intellectually impaired and inferior even though I was punctual, well-dressed and polite to her. I would politely ask her questions when I was uncertain of something and she'd rudely turn her back and ignore me or say "do I need to talk slower for you" in a patronising tone. She dismissed the validity of my debilitating health conditions, which was NOT her place to say her opinion. Her body language suggested I was beneath her. I saw her speak to other clients unkindly while I was there. There were a couple of recruiters who seemed like lovely people, but ultimately the company does nothing for people to find a job all the while treating the clients like we're the lazy ones. No help in applying for jobs. Just show up, sit there for a while, answer some basic question; maybe get spoken to like a child then leave. Other places I've gone to actually achieve something in your meetings, like assist you in putting forward a resume. And talk to you with respect. There was a point where I was so scared that I refused to show up because of how the recruiters treated me. A few years back, the company held a meeting for a group of clients in which they apologized for not doing their job and resolved to do better. They admitted their own negligence. I would advise against attending this place if you're an especially vulnerable person. Just because you're unemployed doesn't mean you're inferior. It doesn't mean you have to be exploited. It doesn't mean you deserve to be treated with prejudice. My experience here has been traumatising. This is an unethical company and I reported them to the Royal Commission who are investigating the abuse/neglect/exploitation of disabled people."
"As an employer. I contacted this business. Initial contact was. Professionally well presented. From there completely down hill. No return calls or even unemployed contacts. To the point that a person missed out on work because of their lack of communications. Would not recommend"
"I have had this happen multiple times they go to cut my pay off and they know i work im not going to be able to attend a face to face meeting if im working that day. Yet again they cut my pay because i couldnt attend a meeting i called up they said yes thats fine then i didnt get a call back from them to confirm a date then my pay was cut its not my job to call you its your job to call me."
"this is my first time being unemployed in over 20 years. The staff were really friendly and my interviewer was great. Gave me great advise and pointed me in the right direction."
"Probably the best place to go if you want absolutely no help finding employment, and to be spoken to like a lesser human being. Probably one of my worst experiences in job agencies. I would avoid if possible."
