When I finally got through to Medibank Private in Melbourne I was put through to an operator that changed the prices of what was stated on the Medibank online form so that I had to pay much more in fees. I wondered if it was all a scam to get my money. I am a 68 year old unhappy pensioner. I live in Penguin Tasmania Australia and my nearest Medibank office is in Launceston. The office is closed and only operating 1 Friday per week. The office is a small rusty horrible little building that really looks more like a toilet than a health care venue. I just wanted to buy a policy, a simple uncomplicated medical insurance policy but I am left with NOTHING. Very unprofessional all around."
