"bad school, not a good environment for students to learn as there is always physical altercations in the playground and countless vapes. vaping = W"
"Forced to wait outside the school no matter the weather, not great if covid runs rampant again. People doing period 0 in the mornings have to come up with solutions in order to get to class on time and if they're late, some have to wait until 8am in order to get to their period 0 class on time; but even so they're 30 minutes later no matter how late they originally were."
"vaping is a casual thing education is great size is great duty teachers just standing around when there is a fight also way to many fights with the same people but other then that this is a pretty nice school the teachers are nice some of them at least cheap cost thats good gear is amazing"
"This school is ridiculous. If students are 30 seconds late for a class, they send parents a text message saying their child is absent or has missed the whole class for each period which creates panic and raises unnecessary suspicion. My son got suspended on a Friday lunchtime for flicking hand sanitiser on another kids leg. We thought the suspension was for Friday and Monday so he went to school Tuesday only to be sent home. So he misses out on 2 days of school just for a silly incident and he is in year 7. I can understand a year 11 or 12 but did a silly thing like that really warrant him missing out on school work for 2 days? And they don't give homework? There's not a lot of hope for kids at this school. Overpopulated and poorly run."
"Halls Head College has recently gone downhill. I would say the teachers there are nice, but that's about it. The year coordinators and principal have enforced the uniform a lot harsher this term, which would be absolutely fine, if they hadn't completely abused their power and gone overboard with the whole thing. The faction polo shirt is not to be worn in classes other that sport, and for some odd reason, children are not permitted to wear any sort of undershirts when the uniform policy clearly states that a white undershirt is allowed. It's not just the fact that the undershirt isn't allowed, it's the fact that they care more about that, than teaching people. Keep in mind that this is supposed to be a COMMUNITY college. The worst part about this is the reason they have started this whole kerfuffle. They think that enforcing the uniform will help with pride in the students, and encourage good behaviour. Because of bad behaving students, this enforcement has taken the wrong turn and now more people than ever are skipping class. This is a very unfortunate thing to happen to such a good facilitated school, and I hope they change their ways soon."
