"The staff stood behind in the pharmacist's medical area and laughed together at my request for support. Then the young girl came and asked if I needed it written down as if I was senile. All I was asking was for support with a health issue that is extremely difficult to live with. I didn't want medication that creates other issues or impacts on ones health long-term. I also wanted to be treated respectfully as if my concerns mattered if not to them to be treated with empathy for what was going through . It would have been respectful to have concerns acknowledged not dismissed or laughed at."
