"I went to here to get a power cable but there were sold out. One of the staff suggested to go to a different electronics shop so I could get one from there. Without his help, I would have been in trouble, thank you so much!"
"I made my order online on Monday night. Your website said you had it in store and I was about to collect it on Tuesday. I was super excited! The item I bought was hard to get and pricey. On Tuesday morning I received several emails and a couple of texts saying as soon as it was ready I would be notified. I waited with baited breath for a good part of the day and to my disappointment my message never came. At 15:00 on my drive home from my training course I thought why not make a quick phone call because if it was in I'd love to collect on my way home. Was I in for a shock. A staff member who identified herself as Debbie answered the phone. I started off by giving her my name and explaining that I had made an order and wanted to check on it. She started to tell me that the truck my order was on was not there. I ttied to ask why it was on a truck when that's not what your website had indicated. She didn't care. And worse off my order might not even be on said truck as these things can take up to five days. I told her that the website, emails and texts had all indicated that were there in the shop and how disappointed I'd be with having to wait another five days. Again, no empathy. Just bad luck, so sad. As I tried my best to navigate her aggressive attempts to fob me off, her lack of patience and her inability to listen to anything I was saying I could tell quite quickly that this was going no where and she was quite clearly not interested in helping me at all. I then made the obvious mistake of asking to speak to someone else who would be more willing to look into my order for me. She response. " There is no one else. I'm the manager here. " I pushed on despite her tone and phone manner couldn't get rid of me fast enough. She then asked me my name and out me on hold. She then came back a few second later and asked me to repeat my last name. She then told me there was no order in my name. I could tell by her lack of any information after that, that she had already checked out. I sighed, said thanks(I so badly wanted to add for nothing but held my tounge) and I hung up. After a minute I called back and got Ross. That staff member was the complete polar opposite. Ross listened to what I had to say, apologised about the conduct of his peer. Explained that Debbie was intact the manager of front of house, not the store manager and gave me the name of the actualy store manager, Sam. It took Ross a couple of moments to pull up my order and tell me it was in and ready for collection. I couldn't have been more grateful but really wanted to express how much of a bad experience I'd had with Debbie but sadly Sam had left to collect her children. So here we are. Buyer beware. Not all the staff at Officeworks are as professional, helpful and attentive as Ross(and the people who served me when I went in to collect, I will say) Debbie is in need of retraining at the very least, in my opinion. Her conduct is quite disgusting and it's concerning a staff member of that standard should be in charge of anything, let alone on the front line. Debbie, you lack any kind of professionalism, tact nor manners. Do better."
"Never enough staff on the front counters to serve customers & if one customer has a problem the line gets really long. Click & Collects take ages to get (might as well just go in and get what you need off the shelf yourself). Just about every click & collect I have done at this store has had something wrong or missing item. For such a big company & expensive prices charged you can certainly do better!"
"Will never return, machines are always broken (photo printing service), staff are so slow and lines are so long because it takes forever to get anything done and staff seem to care less. Never again. Would give 0 stars if I could. If you need to print photos go to Kmart"
"I would give them 0 stars if I could. Difficult to get to. Massive lines and staff wandering around aimlessly. I was waiting for line for shredder and guy spent ages trying to load paper for printing. Not once did he communicate with me. Other line busy also. I eventually called one of the aimless guys and he said he would get someone and noone arrived and he got caught up with other customers. I was waiting with this level of communication for over 10 minutes. Last time I came for this long wait too and poor communication. Just lost my regular business of shredding, paper and ink supplies (I was going to purchase these too). Find somewhere else, it's not worth it. There were plenty of other annoyed customers too. Oh by the way I left, didn't look like they were going to address long queues any time soon. Wasted a good 20 minutes of my life."
