Maridahdi was born out of the concerns of parents when Prep was introduced in Queensland. They were worried about the more formal and structured approach to the early years. At Maridahdi, we believe in providing a nurturing and holistic environment for children from Kindergarten through to Year 6.

Our school features multi-age spaces that are supported by dedicated teaching teams. We believe that a high adult to child ratio is essential to support our educational ethos. In line with this, Maridahdi offers a community approach to education, where families are encouraged to actively participate in their child's learning journey.

At Maridahdi, we follow the Australian Curriculum to ensure that our students receive a well-rounded education. Our Reporting and Assessment Policy is a collaborative process involving the child, parents, and teachers. Children engage in a variety of individual, small group, and whole class activities across different curriculum areas throughout the day.

To truly understand the Maridahdi ethos and see our unique approach in action, we invite you to attend one of our Philosophical Discussions. These discussions are led by our principal and provide an insight into our educational philosophy. Following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to take a group tour of our campus and witness our spaces in action. It is during this event that you can determine if Maridahdi aligns with your child's learning journey.
