Reviews
"Just walked the beach with feet in the water,"
"Small and special village. Southern most point on Magnetic Island. Pub, brewery, cafe and a few shops along the foreshore. Suggest Tropicana accommodation one street back. Nice views from the end of the pier."
"A nice beach with a good view of the Townsville mainland. Was lucky enough to visit during a very low tide and see the PS George Rennie shipwreck (scuttled in 1902) which is usually mostly submerged. Visited July 2022."
"Beautiful view, easy walk along the pier. Didn't see any public toilets but also didn't look for them."
"This is my favourite place on Magnetic Island! The promenade area is built amongst beautiful large Moreton Bay figs. The area, including the beach, hosts many other species of trees as well. The Picnic Bay Hotel was the only venue open for business when I was there and their service was decent. The beach is beautiful! The long jetty is a pretty feature as well."
