"Bought my car here and continue to get it serviced here to receive the extended warranty...first time in four years I was offered the courtesy bus into town while my car was being serviced...very minimal personal customer service...but will continue to use them to get the extended warranty..."

"I've been there 7 times now 1) Sales representative was very rude to me one Saturday morning 2) scheduled a technician to look at my Ute and then booking was cancelled because of sickness 3) Booked online with your online booking service for a service, turned up on the day and you didn't have my car registered (the lady who confirms the online bookings was sick) however, luckily you had one pleasant staff member on that day who let me drop the car off even though they said they were full. 4) Went into to VW to order a front tow bit for my UTE, got a parts person who didn't know anything about my Amarok's part and he said he'll get someone to call me back, never got a call back, 5) booked in for a service, this time you got it right, but the car wasn't washed or vacuumed like most reputable car companies do 6) Went into VW again a few months later to see how the tow point order was coming along, they said they had no record of my order at all or even my attendance at VW previously to have one ordered. Luckily, you had a capable staff member on that day, who served me on that day well and ordered the tow point in for me and it arrived one week later. 7) I scheduled a diagnostic check up on my Ute for a radiator and inverter diagnosis and it was cancelled because of sickness once again so I need to reschedule. This last episode was the straw that broke the camel's back. I live in Charters Towers and your VW Pickerings is the only VW dealership in this region, it takes me 90 minutes to get to VW from where I live and I rarely come into Townsville for anything anytime. I also work full time and rarely have days off to come into VW unlike tomorrow and now that tomorrow was the only time I am available for the next 8 weeks the appointment gets canceled. Only one technician is sick, why don't you have a replacement or another capable technician? My radiator is flashing at me on my dashboard, I've addressed it thrice now and the manual states not to drive with it flashing, but what can I do if you are unable to look at it for me for the next 8 weeks. I am letting you know that I will not be returning to VW Pickerings again and will provide my custom to local mechanics in Charters Towers and that I am very disappointed in the way Pickerings operates. Especially when I had excellent service from Rockhampton's VW, who always went over and above expectations every time prior to coming to Townsville VW. And prior to this exceptional service and custom from Sunco motors and Reef City Motors previously."

"Would never recommend this awful place. Purchased 3 brand new cars from this place. Had nothing but faults. Service team charged $170 for 2 zip ties... Service team spilt coffee through a brand new car (all over infotainment system) and then part cleaned it but never kept records for the damage it caused. Didn't keep records for when they were paid to do tyres.. They did not keep records of multiple warranty repairs when car went in for the same repair it all of a sudden became our fault for belongings being under the seat.... And then they did a "temporary" fix with zip ties. Shane was arrogant and had rubbish customer service skills. Would never touch this company again."
