Reviews
"Lovely tropical Island. Great place to relax and soak up the ambience. We walked through the rainforrest and around the beach. There was also swimming and snorkelling plus glass bottom viewing of the reef. We also enjoyed the facilities at the resort. Lots of other tourists on the island but not too crowded except in the resort day area."
"Being a Cairns locals, we love going over to Green Island. The beach is lovely and great snorkelling. When we go, we always take a picnic lunch."
"The most relaxing unbelievable island was only there 6 hours, and I could have spent 6 more time The water is crystal clear No wonder the great barrier reef is the 7 wonders of the world"
"The snorkelling was fantastic.... the shops and stores on the island are grossly out of date, and the price of food and drink is outrageous with very limited options. It does say no eskys to be brought with you, but I honestly would. Good beaches and snorkelling... terrible facilities joined together with board walks that a falling apart. Was not crowded for obvious reasons. Multiple options to get there leading to not many reasons to stay. Definitely a once only visit and different spots considered for next trip"
"Great place for snorkelling and a pretty unique island out on the Great Barrier Reef. You’ll see all sorts of wildlife, fish, turtles and even sharks if you look close enough whilst snorkelling. The island itself is fully equipped to cater for an enjoyable day outing with restaurants, cafes and shops. A must visit if you’re in the Cairns area"
