Welcome to NRL Cowboys House, a unique and culturally-safe boarding facility located in Gulliver, Hugh Street, Australia. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and women attending partner schools in Townsville.

At NRL Cowboys House, our students receive comprehensive support from dedicated teams in education, wellbeing, culture, and career transitions. We follow a holistic wraparound model of care, ensuring that every aspect of our students' lives is taken care of. Managed by the Cowboys Community Foundation, the charity arm of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys, NRL Cowboys House is a joint initiative between the National Rugby League, North Queensland Cowboys, the Queensland Government, and the Australian Government.

Our Boys and Girls Campus serve as a 'home away from home' for students in Year 7-12, aged 12-18 years, during the school year. These students come from remote communities across North and Far North Queensland, including the Torres Strait Islands. We are grateful for the tireless care and commitment shown by our partner school communities in helping our students learn, grow, and achieve.

We firmly believe that education is the key to opening doors and pursuing one's dreams. As our 2022 graduate, Elijah Joe, said, "Education is the key to open many doors, depending on which path, knowledge, and aspirations you would like to pursue." We are proud to celebrate the transition of our senior students from secondary school to further education, training, or employment.
