"This review is written by my husband---he insisted (lol). Recently my wife, daughter and I rented a Jayco Expander from NQ Caravan Rentals for ten days and the overall experience was absolutely fantastic! The caravan we rented was clean and had everything we needed for our purposes. Furthermore, it was all set up for us when we arrived---we walked in with our luggage, unpacked it, and started looking around the local area. Nice and easy, just the way I like it. Throughout the rental period, the crew from NQ Caravan Rentals remained accessible and supportive (I had to make a couple of calls owing to our first-time experience using a caravan and not knowing what buttons to press etc. Yeah, I know…basic stuff…but the calls were answered, even on a public holiday! That’s impressive in my book!) If you are looking for a reliable and customer-focused hire caravan service, I recommend going with these guys from Townsville. By the way, my wife left her computer in the caravan after our hire period, I left my electric hair trimmer and reading glasses. When we rang for someone to look for these items, they were quickly located and kept safe until we picked them up on the way back from the Tablelands. That's first class service, that is! "We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves exploring Far North Queensland in KAI, and genuinely see ourselves going back again to see more of what the Sunshine State has to offer. A life-changing experience in the best way possible to say the least. Absolutely stellar service from Nat, Hayden and the team. Before we even landed in Townsville, Nat had reached out to give us advice on places we ought to see, and things we ought to do. She also offered to pick my companion and myself from the airport and bring us to the garage. Unfortunately for us, the fridge we had booked broke the night before we got there, and the replacement was held up. A small hiccup that was easily fixed with an esky provided by the NQ Caravans team, and some ice we got from Cole's. The rest of the gear we had booked was working perfectly fine, and made the journey all the more enjoyable. The truck was in immaculate condition, and clearly extremely well maintained, giving us the peace of mind to tackle the brutal Far North Queensland roads. Being of a relatively recent make also meant it was also equipped with all the modern amenities and safety features one might hope for, more than we really needed but there if you do. I daresay it was put together better than rentals I've had from some big brand chains. Nat made sure my companion and I were well situated and informed on everything we needed to know, making the handover as smooth as possible. We were even allowed to drop the truck off on a Saturday morning despite them being closed! Responses from the team were always prompt and proactive even, which inspired confidence for two travelers on their first big adventure together! I'm struggling to find feedback to give on how the whole experience could be improved outside of sheer bad luck (re: the fridge). This review's a couple months delayed, but I suppose that's a testament to just how highly I'd recommend these folks! Massive thanks to Nat and the team for this spectacular experience.
