From Friday 25 August to Sunday 3 September, immerse yourself in a kaleidoscope of events, including music performances, comedy shows, visual arts exhibitions, and family-friendly activities.

But that's not all Matheson Drive Park has to offer. On Saturday 2 September, join us at the Aeroglen Dog Park for our Dog Adoption Day, where you might just find a new furry friend to bring home. Additionally, the Trash to Treasure Fair will be held on the same day from 9am-1pm at the Buy Back Shop in Portsmith, giving you the opportunity to discover unique treasures and support sustainable practices.

While we regret to inform you that the Cairns Festival Grand Parade will not be rescheduled this year, we are considering naming the pavilion in Norman Park, Gordonvale, in honor of the late Stan Marsh, a prominent figure in our community.

At Matheson Drive Park, we also prioritize environmental sustainability. Recently, we launched the Clean Up Cairns campaign, where volunteers picked up a staggering 10,350 cigarette butts from three city streets. We are committed to keeping our region clean and beautiful for all to enjoy.
