"EDIT: The business owner has threatened legal action after I posted this review. I posted this review on their Facebook page as well. They commented in an attempt to discredit me, but have since disabled their review section entirely. Let's get this out of the way - it took over 125 days from submitting my order to finally receiving it. That's nearly 18 weeks. I put in an order for a custom design bolero. Was told it was fine at first. Then was told weeks later that it was not fine. After a lot of back-and-forth, we came to a compromise. Over the span of those 125 days I stated that I wanted chlorination 3 times and yet they still had to ask if I wanted it done. They would take up to 20 days or more to respond. ETAs were missed many times, and I had to ask for an update every time this happened. Devoid of basic customer service skills and professionalism, and came dangerously close to getting personal in later emails. Also, the payment process was confusing and inconsistent with what was described on the website. The website states that they need a 50% deposit to start work. For some reason, I was sent an invoice for the full amount. This was a cause for concern. The worst part is when I finally received my item months later, I found the fit to be poor and most heinous of all - it was NOT made to the design I specified. The most regretful $200 I have spent in recent years. After I complained and demanded a refund, they said I was not entitled to a refund. For some reason, the owner thinks their business is immune to Australian Consumer Law. Instead, they offered a free alteration. In the same email, they admitted that I was ignored by staff because I was "offensive", as if I was throwing around expletives. If a customer is not happy, the worst thing you can do is ignore them. Utterly unprofessional. All they had to do was give realistic ETAs and respond in a timely manner. I do not appreciate being taken along for a $200 ride. I begrudgingly accepted the alteration offer 3 weeks ago, and they have yet to respond. Since making the order, they have revamped their website and now the custom order form is nowhere to be seen. I wonder why? A case study on how not to manage a business and interact with the public. This is why monopolies are bad."
