"Another amazing Queensland Island. You can take your car and pets over. Lay back quiet Island with amazing animal interactions and experiences."
"If you're unsure whether you need to go to Magnetic island or not, the answer is go! You can rent cars, bikes or scooters on the island or take your own vehicle. You can drive from the ferry to the other side in under 20 minutes but the sites are worth it."
"The island boasts the biggest gathering of koala bears in the world, totalling some 800. There is ample opportunity for walks, drives, beach activities and places to stay as well. There is so much to do, I suggest you plan to spend 2-3 nights on the island. We brought our own vehicle which was useful as we could then traverse the island at our own pace. There are some breathtaking views at almost every point on the island. There are bars and restaurants as well as beaches and coves in which you can relax. Sights, smells and sounds are captivating and while probably not unique to the island, are quite amazing. As I found throughout Australia, the people are friendly and welcoming."
