"This was a wonderful hotel. Not the best gym, but lots of pluses. We had a great two bedroom unit. Clean and tidy though room service is around 5 days but extra can be ordered. The staff were friendly and there is a great cafe downstairs."

"The Wi-Fi did not work in the rooms, the swimming pool was locked after 5.00 p.m. and the receptionist did not know the basic details of the area and was not especially helpful to interstate visitors. The receptionist who only worked between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. [precisely] was not employed as a concierge, I suppose, but could have had more local knowledge. The view from the apartment balcony was superb, the fittings in the room were modern and there was a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom."

"Do not recommend. If you don’t want your money stolen and have the worst experience. DO NOT STAY HERE. Re: You kept the $200 bond without any notice in advance, not a call or email. I even followed up multiple times but no response. On the phone call the receptionist said the report indicated “due to vomit on the sheet and towel everywhere”. I asked for this to be sent via email, the receptionist informed me that she will confirm with management and will send my request, got nothing. Only when OFT was involved you finally responded. On the email you sent to OFT, you said “due to vomit and blood on towels and linens”. On the email you sent me after OFT reached out to you, “the bond was capture due to vomit on the linen and towels”. Your reasoning kept changing. I put away the towels myself in the laundry area before checking out, there was no blood anywhere and I have video/photo proof. Yes there was vomit on the sheet, the vomit occurred at night by a 1yr old so I placed the dirty sheet in the laundry room, which you would assume cleaning sheets would be part of housekeeping. Regardless, I requested for a proof of charge such as dry cleaning receipt, and your hotel’s bond return policy so I can understand my rights as a customer but nothing was provided. $200 fee for vomit on the sheet is ridiculous and unfair, given that you have not provided reasonable proof of charge. I tried multiple times to resolve this offline with you but you have made that process really difficult. So no, I would not consider this a misleading review. Rather, a heads up for future customers and in hope you’ll do better."

"Good value hotel that is slightly worn out. The bar fridge didn't work and we informed reception about it during the stay and they were polite about it (they did check whether we needed the fridge for the remainder of the stay which we didn't.) Otherwise, location is excellent and accommodation is clean and tidy. Shower gel and shampoo are provided as well as a set of bowls and cutlery in the room. However, guest are expected to wash own dishes and dispose of own rubbish due to limited house keeping service provided. The pool is small and the fitness centre is a small room with some simple equipment but I am not expecting all these to be great considering the price charged. Bottom line, I would stay at this place again if I have to visit Townsville in the future."

"Key safe for late arrival was handy. Lobby and elevator were extremely HOT No aircon. Not sure you guys realise your in Townsville and it's HOT and HUMID. Why no aircon in these areas? I'm suppose to be staying for 2 nights but have decided to find another hotel. The bed is really comfy BUT when the aircon doesn't work well in the room, takes away the best quality of the room We had the aircon on 18 and cranked the fan to the fullest speed. Without the ceiling fan on 3 the room would have been as hot as the lobby and outside. Very disappointed if I knew that when you pay a cheaper than normal rate, you get a mediocre room. I don't know bout anyone else but I should not have to sleep in a wind tunnel. I've added a photo of the pool that I won't get to swim in or maybe I should just sleep in there."
