Please note that the Cairns Festival Grand Parade will not be rescheduled this year, as advised by the council. However, there are still plenty of other exciting events and activities to enjoy throughout the festival period.

In recognition of the late Stan Marsh's contributions to our community, the council is considering naming the pavilion in Norman Park, Gordonvale, in his honor. This gesture reflects our appreciation for individuals who have made a lasting impact on our region.

We also want to highlight our commitment to environmental stewardship. During the launch of Clean Up Cairns, we collected approximately 10,350 cigarette butts from three city streets. This event marks our dedication to keeping our city clean and preserving its natural beauty.
