"shop is a bit careworn and dusty. Most things don't have a price tag - so you have to trust the manager when they 'look it up'. things feel over priced given the shabby presentation. that said I love a treasure and got several things on the day and went out of my way to be friendly (and seemed Manager was friendly in return). Left happy with purchases but suspecting I'd over paid as nothing has price tags, which is always a bit suss. Disappointed to get home and not have a receipt - though I saw it being written up. That could be my fault - so take care to keep track of your receipts - you may need them. Sadly got home and had an item fall apart in my hands. clearly broken and badly glued back together (not restored). just such a let down, so I asked for a refund. Sadly, management not having a bar of it and not particularly friendly in shouting down the phone (Whilst my mother in law was in the shop for me, as I'd had to return home overseas) "it was fine when you left" and 'you buy things as is'. I was offered store credit, but can't see myself wanting to risk getting anything else here when confidence in the shop has gone. Manager not willing to spend more than 2 minutes talking to me about it at all. I'd emailed to ask for a receipt to help my Mother in Law, never got that either. You may very well find something very special here. but you'll wonder if the price is inflated, you may have to overlook dust and hunt around a bit... and you should not have any confidence that if you have a problem you will find Management sympathetic in the least."
