Our swimming programs are designed to be both affordable and of high quality, focusing on water safety and skill development. From the Learn to Swim program for beginners to squad coaching for all ages, we have classes suitable for everyone, starting from six months old to adults.

For those who prefer group fitness classes, our Aquatic Group Fitness Classes are the perfect choice. These classes not only help build cardio, strength, and resistance but also provide a cool and relaxing atmosphere that is gentle on the joints.

We emphasize the importance of active supervision for parents and caregivers when their children are in the water. Children under 5 must be kept within arm's reach, while children under 10 require active visual supervision.

Tobruk Memorial Pool underwent a redevelopment in 2016, resulting in a state-of-the-art facility. Our venue now features a FINA approved 50m Olympic swimming pool, a 25m lap pool, and a warm water therapy pool. Additionally, we have a toddler splash area, a fully equipped outdoor gym, the Flow Rider, two function rooms, a retail shop, and a café. We recently celebrated 60 years of history, being a part of the local community, schools, teams, and major sporting events in the Cairns Region.

We are open seven days a week, with extended hours on weekdays and slightly reduced hours on weekends and public holidays. Our facility is managed by Belgravia Leisure, on behalf of Cairns Regional Council.
