"Incredible House that made the holiday. We road tripped from the Gold Coast to cairns staying along the way in swags. The manager was amazing she said"ring me when you are 20 away and I will meet you there" when we got there she had the place nice and clean with everything we needed. The peace and quiet is exactly what we needed after a long trip. we were originally meant to stay for 3 nights but we extended and stayed a fourth because we loved so much, I'll add that the sleep I had in the master bed was the best I have had in years. highly reccomnend this property to anybody and everybody, I loved every minute of my stay there. below is a photo I took of me "winding down and relaxing""

"AMAZING!!! Wow! We stayed for a week. 3 adults and 4 kids. Heaps of space for all. Beautiful house up in the rainforest. You can hear the sound of the stream gently flowing past. It’s really peaceful and relaxing. Natural beauty surrounds you. The house itself should be an award winner! Great location! Central to all the activities you will want to do in Cairns. Kimmy and Brett are amazing!! Really felt well looked after. Amazing value for money too. Beds are super comfy. Great spa bath in the master bedroom en-suite. The pool is lovely. It’s a big house over multiple levels. So plenty of room for everyone to find their own space too. Look no further! I’ll be back again more than once!"

"I have recently had the best time when staying at this sanctuary of absolute beauty. I recently stayed at the Wanggulay Treetops and boy, what an awesome couple of days I had. From the moment I stepped foot into this place, Brett was an amazing and such a knowledgeable host. If you want information on what to do around Cairns, especially where the best reefs are, Brett is your man. My partner and I spent two wonderful and memorable days surrounded by awesome scenery from our balcony and we could not have asked for a more welcoming, clean and professional team that looked after our every needs. Contrary to other opinions, we found our apartment to be very clean and we had no complaints with the overall service provided. On a final note, I have to say how impressed we were with the furnishings in our apartment and it’s clear that Brett and his team take pride in running a 5 star get away from home. Thanks ever so much Brett for providing us with such a wonderful stay and I hope you continue to recover from your recent ordeal and that good health continues to come your way."

"Earlier this year I had some difficulties finding an ideal best place for me and my family to stay in. Lucky enough, I found Wanggulay on the web. From booking until we reached the destination, I must say it has been a hassle-free experience. My family and I felt welcomed by the manager, it’s definitely a great place. The ambiance was awesome, views over the river and into the rainforest were special. The rooms were neat and clean, service was great, and their location was very convenient. We felt that we did not want to leave, we even cancelled one of our day trip plans to have the day here as the place has everything you need. It was a 5 star experience and worth staying for. We really felt that we were having a vacation in a different country. From now on, whenever my family and I go to Cairns, we would love to come back..Highly recommended to everyone! "I recently stayed with a group of 6 family members, and I have to say, our expectations of Wanggulay have been exceeded! We booked to stay here for a family reunion in Cairns in late July and we were taken aback by the stunning views from the balcony. Just below you can see the Baron river - it really adds a nice touch. There is also a spectacular outdoor bath which we took advantage of! The manager was extremely helpful, he even provided assistance with sorting out our reef trips. We did have one minor problem, but it was quickly addressed by the manager and we were surprised by the lengths he went to just to make us happy! Overall the place was beautiful, clean and friendly service. Will definitely come back in the future!"
