"Would not recommend going here for pet grooming. We had a terrible experience last Saturday, we booked an appointment for their wash and dry package ($30) and extra face tidy ($10). On the phone, the lady kept mis-pronouncing our pup's name as 'Louise' and referring to him as her despite correcting constantly that his name is 'Louis' pronounced 'L-o-u-e-e'. When we took him for the appointment, the lady at the counter was very unfriendly, we mentioned the wash and dry $30 package online and she said it starts 'from $30', when we asked if it will include wash, dry, brush she rudely interrupted and asked if we wanted him brushed as well? I said no that's fine if it's not in the package. For face tidy, all we asked was to tidy the eyes area and round up the moustache, the quote for this changed to $15, advertised full face tidy as $10 on website, no other area of the face was touched. So all in all we paid $45 for a wash and blow dry and just some clipping under the eye. A day later and my pup looks like he hasn't had any trim on the face at all. (Photo attached) We had a great experience at the Cairns City Poochies with very friendly staff. a great cut and service and would love to take him back there. Avoid the Earlville groomers."
"Did an amazing job with my old Max. Was worried at first because of his age and him being unfamiliar with the place but I really had nothing to be worried about. Took great care and made him feel safe. Also the pricing was extremely reasonable considering what a big job it was. Maxxie is so happy. Thank you again."
