Additionally, Dr. Wagner played a vital role in providing clinical supervision and professional development for the social workers in this service.

In recognition of her expertise, Dr. Wagner was awarded a Clinical Academic Fellowship in 2010. She was appointed to an Associate Professorship at the School of Social Work, Queensland University of Technology, for a 5-year term. In this role, Dr. Wagner taught assessment and intervention to Master of Social Work students. She also provided training and supervision for mental health workers and social work students. Moreover, Dr. Wagner offered family and parent therapy services at the university health clinic. Throughout her 5-year Fellowship, she collaborated with international experts to disseminate evidence-based treatments for child and adolescent mental health problems.
