Welcome to Cairns Northern Beaches Judo Club, the longest established Judo club in Cairns, teaching the Martial Art and Olympic Sport of Judo since 2000. Located at Yorkeys Knob, just 20 minutes North of Cairns CBD and 15 minutes North of Cairns Airport, our club offers a state-of-the-art facility for all Judo enthusiasts.

At Yorkeys Dojo, you will find a spacious 28m x 12m sports-specific training and competition mat area, the largest in Queensland and one of the largest in Australia. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced Judoka, we have classes tailored to suit all ages and levels. From young children to adults, we have something for everyone.

We take pride in providing a safe and inclusive environment for our members, and we are honored to offer our facility free of charge to police, fire, ambulance, and ADF service departments for daytime defensive training classes.

Our experienced coaches are all N.C.A.S qualified, holding Blue Cards and first aid qualifications. They are dedicated to advancing the Judo community by providing top-notch training and guidance to all our members.

To ensure you secure a spot in our classes, it is essential to register during one of the four school terms. Our classes run from Monday to Friday in the afternoon and evening, with additional classes available on Saturday mornings.
