"I just wanted to give 'Mr Bill' and 'Miss Krista' a massive Thank You for all their hard work, persistence and patience with our son Soren. When he first started, he'd get brought to class via the bus from his daycare crying (and sometimes screaming!), not wanting to participate even though he loved being in the water in general and in a pool at friend's places or the lagoon on the esplanade. It took all my strength when taking him to lesson's myself to not un-enrol him as it seemed so traumatic and upsetting for both myself seeing him like that and for him to go through it time and time again. I arranged a phone chat with Bill to ask him his thoughts on the matter and he told me he's seen many many children the same, if not worse than Soren's reaction and that with all of our combined persistence he would eventually get there with confidence and would want to participate and that he would personally help with getting Soren in the pool on his daycare visits. Eventually Soren went into Krista's class and she had similar reactions from him but she worked just as hard as Bill and has now helped Soren achieve rolling for a breath on his own and starting to learn 'big arms' and is now officially about to start Level 2. We're so incredibly proud of him and how far he's come and have these two amazing people to thank for it (I've also sent a thank you to his daycare for also persisting with getting him on the bus every week too!) If I've missed mentioning anyone I apologise and thank them aswell!"
